Gemlings still walk Sarn, hundreds of years after the cataclysmic effects that brought their way of life crashing down around them. Caught in between life and death, these undying gemlings still have their virtue gems embedded in their flesh, beating like a second heart. They sought to propel themselves beyond the limits of humanity, and in return, they have surpassed the greatest and final limit of humanity: death--at least, natural death. These Undying stalk Sarn, believing they are living as they always had. But to an outsider, they are feral and deadly, capable of using a wide arsenal of spells in concert to demolish any who might threaten their paradise of Sarn.
