Тема этой статьи является частью дополнения Восхождение, которое было выпущено 4 марта 2016 года.

Древние азмири прибегали к сложным испытаниям, призванным оценить телесные, умственные и духовные качества будущих вождей. Для отбора кандидатов на прохождение своего Лабиринта, император Изарий возродил эту традицию, но с собственной, зловещей подоплёкой.

Путешествуя по Рэкласту, ваш герой сможет найти шесть Испытаний Восхождения. Каждое из них представляет собой ловушку особого типа и служит своеобразным обучением для последующего прохождения Лабиринта. Пройдя все шесть Испытаний, ваш герой заслужит доступ в Лабиринт Правителя на текущем уровне сложности.

Испытаний Восхождения всегда расположены в указанных областях, но имеют переменное местоположение внутри них.

• Испытание пронзающей истиной, демонстрирующее Ловушки с шипами, находится в Тюремном подземелье, Акт 1
• Испытание калечащей печалью, демонстрирующее Пилы, находится в Обители грехов — уровень 2, Акт 2
• Испытание крутящимся страхом, демонстрирующее Вращающиеся клинки, находится в Склепе — уровень 1, Акт 2
• Испытание пылающей яростью, демонстрирующее Плавильные ловушки, находится в Крематории, Акт 3
• Испытание постоянной болью, демонстрирующее Стражей с клинками, находится в Катакомбах, Акт 3
• Испытание жгучим сомнением, демонстрирующее Метателей дротиков, находится в Зеленом лабиринте, Акт 3

Trial of Piercing Truth

showcasing Spike Trap located in Act 1, The Lower Prison It demonstrates Spike Traps, which shoot out of the ground in a square area according to a timer, taking 1/4 of the player's effective hitpoints (hitpoints + energy shield) and locking him in place. This kind of trap isn't very dangerous, because it cannot kill fast and the lost hitpoints can be recovered using potions.

Upon completing the trial, Izaro gives the message "Belief is the strongest metal of them all." and you are provided with a portal back to the entrance.

Trial of Crippling Grief

, showcasing Sawblades located in Act 2, The Chamber of Sins Level 2 Trial of Crippling Grief is one of the Trials of Ascendancy, and is found in The Chamber of Sins Level 2. It demonstrates Sawblades, which run along a set path, taking player's energy shield and health quickly when cut by them, enough to kill in roughly one second. The damage does not depend on difficulty, but the layout is harder on higher difficulties.

Upon completing the trial, Izaro gives the message "There is a fine line between consideration and hesitation. The former is wisdom, the latter is fear." and you are provided with a portal back to the entrance.

Trial of Swirling Fear

, showcasing Spinning Blades located in Act 2, The Crypt Level 1Trial of Swirling Fear is one of the Trials of Ascendancy, and is found in The Crypt Level 1. It demonstrates Spinning Blades, which are large traps which follow a set path along the ground and can go around corners, , taking player's energy shield and health quickly when cut by them, enough to kill in roughly one second. The damage does not depend on difficulty, but the layout is harder on higher difficulties.

Upon completing the trial, Izaro gives the message "Shine boldly so that all may find you when the night falls." and you are provided with a portal back to the entrance.

Trial of Burning Rage

, showcasing Furnace Traps located in Act 3, The Crematorium Trial of Burning Rage is one of the Trials of Ascendancy, and is found in The Crematorium. It demonstrates Furnace Traps, taking player's energy shield and health quickly when cut by them, enough to kill in roughly five seconds. The damage does not depend on difficulty, but the layout is harder on higher difficulties. The health loss can be countered with potions and partially avoided with . It does not affect fire-related monsters.

Upon completing the trial, Izaro gives the message "Allow your wisdom to be tempered by the flames of the past." and you are provided with a portal back to the entrance.

Trial of Lingering Pain

, showcasing Blade Sentry located in Act 3, The Catacombs Trial of Lingering Pain is one of the Trials of Ascendancy, and is found in The Catacombs. It demonstrates Blade Sentrys, which are very wide traps that move along set paths taking player's energy shield and health quickly when cut by them, enough to kill in roughly one second. The damage does not depend on difficulty, but the layout is harder on higher difficulties.

Upon completing the trial, Izaro gives the message "An emperor must wear two blades. Hope in the left hand, Surety in the right." and you are provided with a portal back to the entrance.

Trial of Stinging Doubt

, showcasing Dart Traps located in Act 3, The Hedge Maze Trial of Stinging Doubt is one of the Trials of Ascendancy, and is found in The Hedge Maze. It demonstrates Dart Traps, which fire projectiles rpeatedly in multiple directions, slowing down the player that makes him an easy prey to other traps. They do not deal damage and no status effect is displayed when the player is affected.

Upon completing the trial, Izaro gives the message "An emperor must know precisely where he stands." and you are provided with a portal back to the entrance.
