Academy Map (War for the Atlas)

Academy Map (War for the Atlas) is a map area based on the tileset from The Library. The map item is a legacy variant of .

Layout

It's a large maze with lots of dead ends. It use the Library tileset. The boss arena entrance is opened with a loose candle, like the entrance to The Archives in Act 3. It's a large room with book shelves, that seals when the boss is engaged. Contains up to three additional monster packs in the corners.

Atlas completion

Since GGG shuffle the atlas from time to time, the atlas bonus completion objective change from time to time too.

If the map base tier is (1-5), the objective is complete the map in magic rarity.

If the map base tier is (6-10), the objective is complete the map in rare rarity.

If the map base tier is (11-16), the objective is complete the map in rare rarity and the map is required to be corrupted.

Please refers to the Additional Information table for the current base tier of the map.

The Awakening objective, in general, requires to complete the map in top tier (4 watchstones socketed) and under certain number of Awakening level of the atlas. Please refers to the atlas in-game for details.

Version	Changes
3.5.0	The Atlas of Worlds has been shuffled. Most maps have changed tier and location within the Atlas. Many map bosses have also shifted around. Some have been retired and replaced!
3.1.0	The entire Atlas has been reworked. Many map names have changed, as have their balance, tier and position on the Atlas. Many maps have also had their boss fights swapped or completely reworked. The rules used to generate monsters in endgame maps have been significantly reworked and rebalanced around the rate at which we expect players to reliably clear out the map. In general, narrow, linear maps will contain fewer total monsters than maps with complex layouts. We will be closely monitoring and adjusting the balance of this change and expect to make further changes and improvements over time.
