A character's attributes
The three core attributes are Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. Most equipment, skill gems, and support gems have attribute requirements. A character must meet or exceed an item's attribute requirements in order to use it.
Each attribute also provides certain inherent bonuses:
- Every 10 Strength grants
- An additional 5 maximum life
- 2% increased melee physical damage
- Every 10 Intelligence grants
- An additional 5 maximum mana
- 2% increased maximum energy shield
Base Attributes[]
All classes have a starting total of 60 attributes of different weights, based on their alignment on the passive tree. The Scion starts with 20 of each attribute.
