The map item was introduced in War for the Atlas update and currently drop disabled. The map item could only obtainable by trading with other players in the permanent leagues. For the current version of the map item, see Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes...

Layout[]

It is similar in layout to the main act zone it is based upon, but instead of one long aqueduct, it features several shorter parallel ones connected with orthogonal bridges. The boss doesn't have a separate area and is instead always found at the left end of the bottom most aqueduct, dropping from the sky when the player steps on the large raft that demarks his lair.

3.1.0
  • Introduction of War for the Atlas map series
  • Added 32 new maps including two new Unique maps.
  • The entire Atlas has been reworked. Many map names have changed, as have their balance, tier and position on the Atlas. Many maps have also had their boss fights swapped or completely reworked.
  • The rules used to generate monsters in endgame maps have been significantly reworked and rebalanced around the rate at which we expect players to reliably clear out the map. In general, narrow, linear maps will contain fewer total monsters than maps with complex layouts. We will be closely monitoring and adjusting the balance of this change and expect to make further changes and improvements over time.
