In in-game Bestiary, Crab, Shield Crab, Sand Spitter and Spider Crab are listed as genera, even Shield Crabs are transformed into Sand Spitters. They all belongs to Crustaceans group of The Deep family.
The boss, Craiceann, First of the Deep, was in fact classified by in-game Bestiary as Lurchers.
