Doryani's Touch

Doryani's Touch is a lightning attack only available through .

As with , support gems do not have to be linked together in order to apply to the innate skill Doryani's Touch. This means that an unlinked four-socket Doryani's Fist is just as effective for modifying the effect of Doryani's Touch as a four-linked Doryani's Fist.

Skill functions and interactions

Area of Effect: Both the main circle of the skill and the smaller circles 90 degrees apart on its edge apply the full damage of the skill, and scale their radius accordingly. Sufficient investment in Area of Effect increases will allow the smaller circles (and the bottom of the main area) to reach enemies offscreen. The direction that the player character is facing has no effect on the placement of these circles, as their rotational position is random.

Slam: All effects on Slam skills (e.g. Fist of War Support, exertion from Seismic Cry) apply to Doryani's Touch.

Can't be Evaded: Though it can be blocked or dodged as with any attack, Doryani's Fist ignores all accuracy and evasion. This also prevents the player from evading reflected damage from this attack.

Empower/Enlighten/Enhance: Due to Doryani's Touch being an innate property on Doryani's Fist, , , and do not affect Doryani's Touch. If socketed, the increased level will apply to socketed active gems but not to support gems since empower only supports active skill gems, other support gems will work for Doryani's Touch.

Damage Effectiveness: Damage from secondary sources like 'added damage' supports, auras, or heralds applies at 600% of their listed value.

Critical Strike Chance: Since Doryani's Touch requires unarmed attacks the skill's base crit chance is 0%. This value can be modified by sources of base crit such as , , or Assassin's Deadly Infusion. Meanwhile, due to the innate "Can't be evaded" modifier, allocating Resolute Technique is generally pointless for the purposes of this skill.

3.10.0	Doryani's Fist now has 30% increased Shock effect, +80 to 100 to maximum Energy Shield (from +30), 30% chance to Shock (from 10%), and now grants 200-250 Energy Shield on killing a Shocked Enemy (from 30). Existing items can be updated to these new values with a Divine Orb, but won't get the increased Shock Effect. The Doryani's Touch skill granted by this item now has 30% less Attack Speed (from 50% less) and now has 40% chance to Shock (from 20%). These changes affect all versions of the item.
3.5.0	Doryani's Touch skill granted by Doryani's Fist can now hit up to 50 Enemies per skill use (up from 20). Doryani's Touch can no longer be Evaded. Now has 20% more Area of Effect. Now costs 8 Mana (down from 28). Now has 50% less Attack Speed (down from 30%). Now has 600% Added Damage Effectiveness (up from 350%). Now converts 100% Physical Damage to Lightning Damage (up from 50%).
