Essences of Rage can be used to upgrade an equipment with a guaranteed affix related to :

• Strength
• Fire damage penetration

Monsters that possessed by the essence, would create fire runes that trigger when stepped on, dealing fire damage, similar to Malachai's Fire Traps.
