Golem

For the creature type, see Golem (monster type).

Golems are a type of minion that provides a direct buff to the character who summoned them, but not to anyone else (exception: Summon Carrion Golem). A player may only have one Golem active at any given time by default.

Golem limit

The maximum number of active golems can be increased with the following:

	Additional Golems
Notable skill Golem Commander	+1
Ascendant notable skill Elementalist (Ascendant passive)	+1
Elementalist notable skill Liege of the Primordial	+1
Elementalist notable skill Elemancer	+1
	+1, or +2 if dual-wielded
	+1, or +2 if equipping or socketing three or more Primordial items
	+3

This allows for a theoretical maximum of 11 golems as an Elementalist, 10 Golems as an Ascendant and 9 Golems as every other remaining class.

When the player has multiple of the same Golems, their buffs don't stack. The exception to this is if you have the Elementalis notable skill Elemancer, in which case the buffs do stack to a certain degree.

Total Golem Buff

The Total benefit from your golems can be calculated as such

X+XA+XBY

in which:

X= The total amount of golems of any type (prefferably the type you wish to calculate the buff for)

Y= The total amount of golems.

A= The sum of flat buff for your golems displayed as a fraction. (30% becomes 0.3).

B= The sum of buffs per Golem. as of Version 3.14.0b this value is either 0, 0.25 or 0.5 depending on how many of the perks you have in the Elementalist Ascension
