Haku missions

Haku, Armourmaster offers missions to the player daily or when found in the wild. He gives reputation and favour as reward for completing this mission. Attempting the daily mission will also reset his store.

When found in the wild, Haku will be standing next to the entrance to one of his mission areas. In daily missions Haku will first open a portal into a "forgotten" empty outdoor area where, as in the wild, he will then be found standing next to a mission area entrance.

Objective

All of Haku's quests will involve finding a Karui spirit and bringing it out of the area. The areas are all linear with minor siderooms or corridors.

The spirit may be located:

• At the beginning of the zone, with the exit at the other end from the start.
• Halfway through the zone, with the exit at the other end from the start.
• At the end of the zone, guarded by a boss, with the exit at the start.

While you are holding the spirit, hostile effects are triggered around you every few seconds. These may be any of the following:

• Casts spells on your current location, including:

• Creates burning ground under you
• Creates blinding clouds around you
• Spawns monsters
• Revives nearby monsters
• Damaging rocks fall from the ceiling, increasing in frequency with time

After you retrieve the Karui Spirit and begin to escort it out, you cannot use movement skills or leave the instance (other than by using the exit) without dropping the Karui Spirit. These skills include: , , , and . and are an exception and can be used without dropping the Spirit. The Karui Spirit remains stationary until it is retrieved again. You can use Flasks to boost your speed.

While dropping the spirit will stop new triggered effects from forming, it will not cancel existing ones prematurely.

Using the exit to the instance while carrying the spirit immediately completes the mission.

Complications

Complications include:

• Standard map mods. Note that the area does not inherit any map mods if Haku was encountered in a map.
• Invulnerable totems that cast spells. Possibilities include:

• An -like spell
• A physical version of

• A time limit.

Bosses

In missions where you do not start at the spirit, you will need to defeat either a totem or necromancer boss before picking up the spirit.

• Jikeji: Uses - (5 totem limit), - with ~30s chilled ground duration, , and
