Layout

The map uses the Crypt tile set. A stretch of empty rooms separated by short corridors leads to a central area with the main boss, Maker of Mires. It is immune to damage until the other four occupants of the map are eliminated. The central area splits into four different directions which end in separate areas in which to fight the lesser bosses. The map contains no other monsters except for the five bosses. The volume of the music increases as a warning when you approach any of the bosses.

Boss

Maker of Mires, based on Brutus, Lord Incarcerator.

• Is buffed with Cannot Die AuraCannot Die Aura

Jaesyn, based on Hillock.

• Summons copies of himself in a manner similar to Nightwane.

The boss names are a play on words of horror movie antagonists:

• "Balah, Duke", named after The Babadook from the the The Babadook movie.
• "Jaesyn", named after Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th series.
• "Jik'shah", named after Jigsaw from the Saw series.
• "Krugg, the Frayed", named after Freddy Kruger from the Nightmare on Elm St. series.
• "Maker of Mires", named after Michael Myers from the Halloween series.

Version history

Version	Changes
3.9.0	The Atlas of Worlds has been reworked. You now start at the centre and will work your way outwards as you explore a new storyline. Unique maps can now drop with varied tiers based on the state of your Atlas. Maps that previously had monster level overrides (such as Hallowed Ground) now instead rely on the variable tier. Hallowed Ground no longer overrides the level of monsters within it. It now adds or subtracts a number of levels from the monsters within it based on the mod. This is due to the capacity for it to now have a variable tier. Existing versions of this item are not affected.
3.5.0	The Atlas of Worlds has been shuffled. Most maps have changed tier and location within the Atlas. (Not in patch notes) The Atlas will now be shuffled every league.
3.3.0	Maker of Mires in the Hallowed Ground map will now create clones more reliably.
