Lightning damage

Lightning damage is one of the five Damage Types. It is one of the three types which count as Elemental damage. If you land a critical strike with an attack or spell that deals lightning damage, the Shock Status Ailment is inflicted.

Lightning damage is reduced by Lightning resistance. Skills which deal or affect lightning damage have the Lightning Keyword. Some effects convert other types of damage into lightning.
