The altar of corruption (also known as Corruption Altar in-game) will corrupt an item similar to Vaal OrbVaal OrbStack Size: 10Corrupts an item, modifying it unpredictablyRight click this item then left click an item to corrupt it. Corrupted items cannot be modified again.
Shift click to unstack.. The type of outcome depends on the item class and item level of the item being corrupted.
Regular items:
- Turn all sockets white
- Change into a random influenced rare
- Destroy the item
- Grant two random corrupted implicit modifiers
Each outcome has an equal chance of occurring. It is most likely not possible to transform certain unique equipment items into their Vaal version. There are no upgraded uniques with two corrupted implicit modifiers.
