Path of Exile (PoE) is an online action RPG, set in the dark fantasy world of Wraeclast. It is developed by New Zealand based independent video game developer, Grinding Gear Games. The game was officially released on 23 October 2013.[1][2] A version for Xbox One was released in August 2017, and a PlayStation 4 version was released in March 2019.
A sequel, Path of Exile 2, was released to early access on December 6, 2024. It was originally announced in 2019 as a large update for the original game. In 2023, the studio announced that it would instead be a separate game.[3][4]
