Walkthrough
Talk to Maramoa to start this quest, after you have completed Lost in Love.
Maramoa: General Gravicius demands absolute obedience from his Blackguards... meaning he's surrounded himself with cowards and lackwits unable to lift a finger without orders.
If you are able, traverse the river and murder General Gravicius in his own barracks. You'll be ripping the very mind from the skulls of our enemies.
Find General Gravicius
Find General Gravicius in The Ebony Barracks. To get there, you'll first have to complete the quests The Gemling Queen, The Ribbon Spool and Fiery Dust, for otherwise access is still blocked by the Undying Blockage. These steps need to be followed:
- Collect the
Ribbon SpoolRibbon SpoolMachinery makes the minions.
Minions make the master.from the Battlefront.
- Collect the
Thaumetic SulphiteThaumetic SulphiteEssence of pure thaumaturgy.
Apply with trepidation.item from The Docks.
- Take both items to Lady Dialla in Solaris Temple Level 2. She will reward you with another quest item:
Infernal TalcInfernal Talc"A Virtue Gem is a raging thunderstorm imprisoned within a single raindrop.
Infernal Talc simply lets the storm out." - Malachai the Soulless.
- Take the Infernal Talc to the Warehouse Sewers and use it to burn away the Undying Blockage, thus opening a new path to The Ebony Barracks.

Return to The Sarn Encampment for your reward.
Maramoa:' You are the true spirit of makoru, the shark. Not the cowardly beast that sinks its teeth into the lonely swimmer. You strike the waikoama, the canoe, spilling a feast of men into the water. Hunters turned hunted that you dine on at your pleasure.
