Shocked ground is a detrimental ground effect that inflicts a debuff that causing affected targets to take increased damage from all sources.

Shocked ground and Shock does not stack, which the character would only have one Shock debuff from the strongest source.

The modifiers Unaffected by Shock and Cannot be Shocked prevent the Shock from the ground effect to apply to the character.[1] Other source such as Raider's Avatar of the Veil: Immune to Elemental Ailments while Phasing, or the flask mod Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "mods.name"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.., etc., also making the character immune to shock from the ground effect.

It gives a flat value of #% increased damage taken. It is 15% for Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.., while for map mods they are 20/35/50%. The magnitude of map mod may be further scale with Atlas' Awakening Bonus Objective Completion (1% increased effect of Modifiers on non-unique Maps (per 6 Awakening Bonus)).

Note that the legacy maps (maps from version 3.1.0 until 3.8.2d) can have above mods, but have an increase damage taken by 1% due to change inside the mod, from "stat id" known as "map_ground_lightning" (value = 1) to "map_ground_lightning_base_magnitude" (value also = 1 instead of current default values of 20/35/50). Use a Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. can restore to the current values.

Notes[]

  1. The patch changed the description of Shocking Ground related map mod, as well as mod of Delve and Synthesis area. However, legacy map mods were unchanged. Moreover, contradict to the patch note, all the description of the Chilled Ground related area mod are not changed.
  2. It was not stated in the patch note, but in 3.9, the map modifier has changed to use stat id "map_ground_lightning_base_magnitude" for the magnitude of Shocked Ground, which is 20/35/50% and NOT using the default value of shock.
