Mechanics

• : While wielding this warstaff, any time a corpse is consumed (from skills like or even ), used for , or exploded (, , , Bubonic Trail's ), a Phantasm (as created typically by ) is created, gaining the effects of any Support Gem socketed into the staff. This does not function with corpses consumed by skills linked with . These support gems do not need to be linked to confer their bonuses to the Phantasms.

The maximum number of Phantasms that can be summoned caps out at 10 naturally, however, when a gem is socketed into the staff, the gem's phantasm count is added to the total without requiring the 'on kill' parameter, bringing the maximum quantity of Phantasms to 21 with a level 21 skill gem.

• The phantasms come from a trigger effect and therefore can not be supported by . Minions that are self cast can still be supported by .

Since Delve league is added to core in version 3.5.0 , the warstaff does not requires Zana Delve league mod (and does not exist) to drop. GGG has confirmed it was Delve league world drop.

However, it is not certain that this staff can drop outside the Azurite Mine or not, or affected by version 3.14.0 change or not, that add some league-specific item to core drop pool.

3.8.0	Several Staves are now classified as Warstaves. Warstaves can no longer roll caster-related modifiers, while Staves retain their old mod generation behaviour.
