Legacy variants[]

I think no such legacy variant existed as the implicit replacement affect all version, which no such no implicit legacy variant. Neokowloon (talk) 15:59, 12 May 2019 (UTC)

That's not correct. The legacy variant lacks an implicit because the old implicit on existing items was removed, not replaced. Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. and other Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. with no implicit exist on Standard league. —Vini (t|c) 22:20, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1937938. Nope, it rather a visual legacy variant. Neokowloon (talk) 06:46, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
http://dl3.joxi.net/drive/2019/05/13/0003/0405/197013/13/15e5297e6a.png - I try to check such controversial issues on the official trade. If there is such a version on the trade, then it is legacy.--Ruba159753 (talk) 07:46, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
Will be good to buy a "legacy" rare with same basetype and check it did grant Pierce or not. If it just a visual issue, may be just state it is a visual issue. Neokowloon (talk) 16:30, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
Ok, bought a legacy Drillneck (which "no" implicit) to test, in the "character screen" (the screen by pressing C ) it display i can pierce 1 additional target when equipping the quiver. I also have a few vaaled Drillneck , which their implicit were replaced by corruption mod, i don't have pierce instead when equipping those vaaled Drillneck . Thus, it seem the change has made the old legacy Drillneck has a hidden implicit. Neokowloon (talk) 18:37, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
Based on the wording of the legacy implicit Modifier:ArrowPierceImplicitQuiver12 seem reinforce it is not only a visual +1 in "character screen", but have real effect in combat. It just became hidden implicit mod. Neokowloon (talk) 22:07, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
