Legacy threshold jewels (pre 2.6)[]

From what I can tell, the passives-in-radius changes to threshold jewels in version 2.6.0 retroactively applied to legacy variants. This is evidenced by a legacy variant of Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. I found in my stash tabs with With at least 40 Dexterity in Radius, each Spectral Throw Projectile gains 4% increased Damage each time it Hits. The only difference between this and the current variant is that legacy is 4% increased damage and current is 5%. —Vini (t|c) 05:01, 29 July 2017 (UTC)

Definition of threshold jewel[]

The query code now also fetch the jewel Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.., Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.., which they did not associate with any active skill. Should the query need to be modified to remove these two jewels? Neokowloon (talk) 00:47, 10 April 2020 (UTC)

In my opinion, the main thing is that there are some requirements for activating modifiers on jewel (Allocated in Radius).--Ruba159753 (talk) 07:12, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
Then only "Inspired Learning" need a threshold to activate its mod . Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. rather similar to Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.., Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.., Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.., Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.., etc. Neokowloon (talk) 19:58, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
To me it seems that neither Inspired Learning nor Pugilist fit the definition of a threshold jewel. The whole idea behind a threshold jewel is that you need to meet a threshold of attribute points in the jewel's radius to improve a specific skill. Pugilist definitely does not function that way, since there is no threshold to speak of. Inspired Learning requires a threshold of sorts, but it is not a threshold of attribute points, and it is not associated with a specific skill. —Vini (t|c) 21:10, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
So, refine the query to remove the two jewels or not? Neokowloon (talk) 04:05, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
BTW, GGG said Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. was a threshold jewel

Threshold Jewels are something we knew we wanted from very early in the design of the Jewel system. We even had an early version on the promotion page for The Awakening, showing a pre-beta version of a Jewel that granted +1 to the maximum number of curses you could apply to enemies.

But it seem they shifted the definition to jewel that "affect a specific skill." Neokowloon (talk) 04:47, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
