The Socketed Gems Cost and Reserve Life instead of Mana mod has the same effect as the keystone, Blood Magic, minus the drawback. Taking the keystone in addition to equipping this armour will impart no additional benefit on socketed gems. Blood Magic keystone does affect gem that not socketed in this item, however.
