Enduring Cry skill screenshot

A player casting Enduring Cry

Warcries are active skills that provide situational benefits to players and are typically aligned with melee characters because they only affect nearby enemies and allies. In addition to the bonuses, warcry skills naturally taunt enemies within their range to attack the player instead of his allies, allowing one party member to act as a "tank". Warcries also Exert the next few attacks with additional properties.

Warcries aren't considered Spells and therefore cannot be supported by support gems such as Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. or other spell-specific support gems. Warcries can be supported by Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. to lower their cooldown.

Mechanics[]

Players can be under the effect of multiple Warcries at once. Each Warcry has its own cooldown unless the Call to Arms keystone is allocated.

Power[]

Warcries are enhanced proportionate to the power of nearby enemies, calculated at the time they are cast. Normal monsters are counted as 1, magic monsters as 2, rare as 10, unique as 20, and players as 5.

The following count power differently:

  • Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. gains power based on nearby Allies and enemies
  • Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. gains power based on nearby enemies and corpses

Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. causes Warcries to have infinite power, so they always apply the maximum possible benefit, regardless of nearby enemies.

Exerted Attacks[]

Warcries cause a certain number of attacks to become Exerted after the Warcry is used, as long as the attack type is valid. Attacks can be Exerted by multiple Warcries and receive the benefits of each.

The number of Exerted attacks remaining is shown on the Skill bar icon.

Channelling skills cannot be exerted.

Multistrike and Exerted attacks: Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. supported skills cannot be exerted, although skills that inherently strikes multiple times, like Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.., consume one exerted attack per use of the skill.

Skills[]

There are currently 8 gems with the Warcry gem tag: Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageID"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes..

Version history[]

Version Changes
3.11.0
  • The visual effects of all warcries have been improved.
  • Greater support for Warcries has been added to the Passive Skill Tree in the form of new and changed clusters, and even a new keystone.
  • Warcries no longer share a cooldown by default. All Warcries now have a base use time of 0.8sec, and their effects tend to linger for a greater duration. Their base cooldowns are also now longer.
  • Each Warcry is enhanced by the proximity of enemies, and for some warcries, allies or corpses too. This is measured as 'Power', with Normal enemies providing 1 Power, Magic enemies providing 2, Rare enemies providing 10, Unique enemies providing 20, and players providing 5. All Warcries also taunt enemies in range.
  • Warcries all now cause a certain number of attacks to become Exerted after the Warcry is used (except Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. and Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.., however the attacks done by the Lua error: Error: invalid field alias "items._pageName"; aliases cannot contain dots or quotes.. Mirage Warriors are Exerted). Exerted attacks are enhanced in different ways depending on the Warcry. Your Exerted Attacks can benefit from the effects of multiple Warcries, if the type of attack is valid.
  • We wanted to add support for mechanics that have been added in the past few years that as of yet do not have adequate support on the passive tree. Some of these mechanics include Rage, Unleash, Corpse manipulation, Warcries, Heralds and Banners.
